This is my first post. I have a 1982 750 Maxim thats in poor shape right now. I got it from my son in law. He is no longer around. I don't have a book or manuel. I was wondering if there is an online users manuel ,service manuel or something to help me get accuanted with it. I'll buy a service manuel book later after i find out if it will run and is worth putting money in. I need to go completly through it because its been sitting in a garage for about 10 years. I'll be gratful for any help.

They are a nice bike, so if not to trashed you should be able to bring her back to life. I think there is a section on different manuals in Shop Talk.
Good luck.
When it's my time to go I hope it's like my Grampaw who went in his sleep, unlike the passengers in his car that were screaming..........

Just remember "You see old motorcycle riders and bold motorcycle riders, but you never see any old bold motorcycle riders"....

Default Have same bike

Hi. I have the same bike. It is a great bike. Mine has been neglected as yours was (my fault), and I just got mine running again. I bought the shop manual in 1984, and it has seen a lot of use. I think that I also bought a Haynes manual for 1982 Yamaha Fours. I believe I saw a Yamaha shop manual online on ebay not to long ago. I may be able to help you if you get stuck. John
