I have been out as much as possible. It is 42 this morning with a chance of snow flurries. What the HECK! I will be riding Thrusday & Friday with the leathers if I have to! No rain in site then and upper 60's - 70's by Friday here.
Yeah, I'll be riding here in NY to Fort Lauderdale, FL. Hence, the windshield consideration. So far found the boulevard for about $138. not too bad. I know I'll need something for this ride.
I paid $12K out the door. It was a demo bike (MSRP $16.5K with a $1K rebate and demo sales price). It is an '08 and I bought it in Feburary 2009. Hope this helps. It's a sweet bike.
You are welcome! Yeah, we got 4 inches of freaking snow over night here! I rode last Saturday in 75 degree temps myself. UGH!!! I am sick of cold weather and SNOW!!!!
HC is hyper charger. Intemittent misses are almost always vacuum leaks. You can try changing the fuel filter too. Anything else that will cause an intermitten miss is almost impossible to find. IE electrical problems that work well most of the time. I think it's just the gutted exhaust fooling you, turn up the idle to around the 1200 rpm mark too, being a little too low can starve the cams of oil. (the only way you'd hear an idle miss is if it's too low)
