Hi all! Finally got a bike. I just picked up a 07 Strat 1900. It had 0 miles on it and got a great deal from RMC in Renton, WA. Man it is sweet. Now if only it would stop raining! It has been 80 degrees plus for the past 3 weeks here, and as soon as I get a bike, it won't stop raining!

Welcome! I had the same thing with the weather. Had our best weather in April then after I brought my bike home, it got cold and snowed. Weather didn't get warm til June but then the rains hit. Haven't gotten in the riding I was hoping to. I'm visiting in CA right now and hope the weather is decent when I return. Sure miss my BFF - my bike...

I had the exact problem when I bought my 2009 Venture. Rained daily for about 3 weeks except the day I brought it home. Today is clear, sunny and topping out at about 88 degrees. You can bet I'm straddlin' and riding somewhere! Maybe somewhere where they sell highway pegs.

Hey Mr. Tobes, I won't tell the YAMAHOPPER dealer this but those things run GREAT whether the sun is shining or not, even if its raining! That's not a HARLEY you don't have to haul them either or leave them put up when its cold, hot, or even raining!!!!

Good to know! The weather finally cleared up and I have already put 120 miles on her in 2 days. As far as riding in the rain, I am gonna wait until I get a few more miles under my belt before I try that. I had a sport bike about 6 years ago, and was forced to sell it after a few months, and I never rode it in the rain. Hardly rode it at all really... I am trying to find a run-turn-brake controller for this thing and am having a hard time. I am also looking for a dual pipe setup (2:2) that are shorter than the length of the bike. I may need to post this in another forum, but maybe someone here will have some ideas.
Thanks for all the welcomes!
